SMYAL Launches New Website after Booz Allen Hamilton Digital Redesign

SMYAL is excited to announce the launch of our redesigned website!

We are proud to debut our site developed in collaboration with Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH). Led by volunteers from the BAH User Experience/ User Interface (UX/UI) practice, BAH designers, developers, and digital strategists worked closely with SMYAL staff to conduct research into user behavior and preferences, strategize social engagement practices, develop a content management system, and create a responsive interface design that users can view across multiple devices.

After working closely with SMYAL to understand the organization’s vital mission and ways they can activate volunteers, inform donors, and better serve their clients through digital, the BAH team applied methods and practices honed through their 102 years of client-service to create a digital platform that is aesthetically pleasing, and easy to navigate, maintain, and scale for future growth.

SMYAL is honored to have partnered with BAH and GLOBE, the firm’s employee resource group for their lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and straight ally community on the website and looks forward to many future endeavors.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked on the project including JR Key, Brett Karpowicz, Cameron Lensing, Geoffrey Geiling, Heather Gilley, Jake Paiva, James Parker, Katherine Rose, Kimberley Pelliccia, Marni Myers, and Randall Pope.
