Attention Young Lesbian, Bisexual and Questioning Young Women! A new session of the Ladies Lounge will be starting this fall! Read below for more info and spread the word!
The Ladies Lounge is a group for young lesbian, bisexual and questioning young women ages 13-18 who are interested in:
- Developing lasting relationships with other youth and adults from the community
- Exploring the issues that matter to young lesbian and bisexual women like:
relationships, coming out, family, faith, the arts, safer sex, health and wellness, keys to success and more!
- Creative expression
- Learning about themselves and developing as a person and member of their community
- Strengthening their communication and conflict resolution skills
- Having fun!

Dinner is served every night
Join us Thursdays @ SMYAL 410 7th St. SE (how to get here). Get here early and eat dinner on us or mingle with your friends from 4 - 5 pm. Ladies Lounge Sessions are from 5 - 7 pm -- No one will be admitted past 5 pm, please be on time!

About Ladies Lounge:
The Ladies Lounge is a support/life-skills program for young lesbian, bisexual and questioning women. The curriculum is designed to strengthen self-esteem, create community amongst young lesbian, bisexual and questioning women, create opportunities to develop critical thinking and healthy decision-making skills, as well as develop their leadership potentials. This is done through creative, experiential activities, exposure to strong female leaders in the community, and opportunities for self-expression and relationship building.
