PRESS RELEASE: Local LGBTQ Youth Benefit from the Capital Classic Tournament
Thanks to member support and corporate sponsorship of their annual Capital Classic Tournament, the Capital Tennis Association (CTA) raised $7,500 to support the Sexual Minority Youth Assistance League (SMYAL).

SMYAL Announces Dates of Focus Groups
SMYAL is conducting a comprehensive needs assessment in 2010 to understand how the macro-level issues impacting LGBTQ youth are experienced by individual youth in SMYAL's service area. The needs assessment will be comprised of a series of focus groups with LGBTQ youth of various demographics, and educators and service providers to better understand the current needs of this population.
